Paul Cullen

Group Executive Adviser Services

Paul has an extensive background in the financial services sector spanning 27 years.

He joined Centrepoint Alliance in 2016 with a demonstrated commitment to raising the standards of financial advice. Through adviser education, support, and maintaining a strong client focused culture, Paul is helping our community of advisers to prepare for the future.

Prior to joining Centrepoint Alliance, Paul was the Head of Best Advice at IOOF. His career has featured a diverse range of roles with companies including Colonial First State, Shadforth Financial Group, Commonwealth Financial Planning and St. George Bank.

Tanya Seale

Group Executive Technology Solutions

Tanya has been in the financial services industry for 15 years and is passionate about improving the quality of advice provided to clients and creating efficiencies for Advisers.

She has held various roles in compliance, practice development, financial planning software and advice coaching in both small and large licensees. Most recently as the Chief Operating Officer, for Matrix Planning Solutions where she oversaw compliance, Paraplanning, technical and XPLAN reporting to the General Manager of Licensee Services.

Michael Calam

Regional Manager, QLD

Michael has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and is passionate about people, culture and performance.

He has held various roles in banking and finance specialising in project management, customer design, business analysis and business coaching. Prior to joining the finance industry, he was a Queensland Police officer, working in remote communities and as a police prosecutor. Since joining Centrepoint Alliance he has worked closely with the principals of many firms to help them to grow their businesses, improve their work/life balance and to help them with mergers, acquisitions and succession plans.

Maree Alilovic

Regional Manager, WA

With extensive expertise in Business Coaching, Practice Development, Operations, Management and Compliance, Maree is passionate about helping financial advisers build their ideal business. A business that is profitable, sustainable, and enjoyable.

Maree has been working in the Financial Services industry for over 20 years with the last 15 years spent coaching financial advisers. The business side of financial advice can take financial advisers away from what they enjoy the most: advising clients. By working together Maree aims to help advisers to improve the way that they run their business, so they have more time focusing on what they enjoy.

Simon Ponti

Regional Manager, QLD

With over 15 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, Simon is passionate about assisting clients improve their business and achieve their goals. He enjoys helping firms implement strategic and operational changes to deliver efficient change and enable adaptation to the changing world of advice.

Simon’s diverse skills in business development, relationship management, business consulting and change management have allowed him to guide many practices through challenging environments to achieve their business goals and objectives.

Glenn Clay

Regional Manager, NSW

Glenn has 30 years experience in Financial Services in business development, practice management and financial advisory roles.

Glenn enjoys getting a deep understanding of his clients and working in partnership to help them enhance and grow their business.

He helps practices by ensuring they are maximising their use of technology and consistently improving their processes to gain maximum efficiency and profitability.

Glenn enjoys working in the advice community facilitating peer groups, workshops and business planning sessions ensuring advisers share ideas and assist each other by problem solving and motivating each other.

He enjoys talking to people at all stages of their career or business lifecycle. Whether someone is considering a career in financial services, considering their licensee options, considering a business sale or purchase, Glenn loves taking the time to talk through the options available and helping adviser and practices choose the right path.

David Reynolds

Regional Manager, VIC

David has 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with advice experience in the UK and Australia. He is passionate about supporting businesses in the provision of financial advice with a focus on growth and sustainable practices.

David has held various management roles within licensees and distribution, specialising in coaching and practice development. Most recently David held roles within licensee practice development and wealth management product distribution.

Elaine Sze

Regional Manager, NSW

Elaine is passionate about empowering financial advice and accountancy principals to grow their desired practice efficiently and profitably.

With over 20 years’ experience across banking, marketing, and funds management, Elaine joined Centrepoint Alliance in 2012 to focus her career on providing business consultancy within a progressive advice community.

Working as an extension to adviser’s businesses, Elaine takes pride in helping business owners improve and grow their business. A critical success factor in our dynamic industry is ensuring collaboration amongst our advice community; so we can share insights and build confidence, which supports successful businesses to deliver quality advice for their clients’ financial wellbeing.

Daniel Stojanovski

Head of Research

Daniel joined Centrepoint Alliance in October 2020 as Head of Research, he is responsible for Centrepoint Alliance’s Research offering and runs the firms model portfolios and approved product list. He is also responsible for the managed accounts, investment philosophy, responsible investment philosophy, investment strategy and asset allocation. Daniel has over 10 years of investment experience, holding several responsibilities in research across managed funds, equities, and portfolio management over his career.

Previously to Centrepoint Alliance, Daniel spent five and a half years at Insignia (formerly IOOF) as a Portfolio Manager in their Research team, where he helped run a number of portfolios from accumulation to retirement, while also launching Insignia’s ESG philosophy and ESG portfolios.

Prior to this, Daniel spent two and a half years with Challenger Limited, working across numerous funds at Challenger, under their Fidante Partners Business and he also worked at Morgan Stanley within their Investment Management division.

Gamza Gierdien

Adviser Revenue Services Manager

Gamza has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He prides himself on providing high quality support services to advisers, and is well regarded for his experience & knowledge. Gamza has been involved with revenue processing & reporting for over 15 years, and has been instrumental in the development of commission processing systems and procedures. In his current role, Gamza oversees the Commission processing team for the Matrix, Alliance Wealth and Professional Investment Services dealer groups.
